Join Dr Richard Potter, former Medical Director of the Central Cheshire Pain Management Service. Since 2015, he has engaged in locum GP work, and is now focused on developing training in chronic pain management for GP practice teams in partnership with Vernova CIC (for Eastern Cheshire CCG). He has recently written two e-learning ‘micro-modules’ on Pain Management and Functional Medical Conditions. During this year he will be rolling out chronic pain management training for practice teams.

- Developing the interdisciplinary team skill-set to ease pressure, reduce stress, optimise resources and improve patient outcomes
- Defining core GP skills and how they can be enhanced; using training to address variation and standardise quality of care
- The ‘rehabilitation sub-team’ as an example: models of acute and chronic care for MSK pain, case management, patient assessment, rehabilitation methods
